Putnam East
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we bring you our Pre-School, School, and Daycare Guide! We know how daunting it is to pick places for your child, especially when you are left googling for names or hoping the mom you recently met has good recommendations. We've reached out to several local places that provided us with summaries of their programs, and we are looking forward to receiving many more soon.
The programs are listed below by program-type and more detailed information on each program resides in the Featured Listings. You can access each program's Featured Listing by clicking on the name below or on the menu bar (see left). We will be continually adding more programs to the Guide throughout the year, so please check back often!
Programs For Twos
- Carmel Nursery School: Our program is designed to introduce toddlers to separating from parents and beginning to learn the basic skills they will need for nursery school. The first few sessions can be mommy/daddy and me and then transition to a drop off class when your child is ready
- Other Schools (non featured)
Programs for Pre-School
- Carmel Nursery School: Our Two Day Program is the first year of a two year program for children who will be three years old by December 1st. It is designed to encourage children to be imaginative, independent learners who explore their environment with curiosity and purpose. The focus for their year is on emotional and social skills, building confidence and independence along with basic academics including colors, shapes, numbers, names and theme units.
Each day includes time for free play, center activities, work and / or craft time, story time, group activities and snack time. - Patterson Rec Enrichment: STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
Our program will encourage your child to explore, think, create and problem solve, while actively engaging in fun filled learning. We will work with your child on an individual basis in reading and math as well as stimulate them with science, art, music, drama and fitness to develop a strong base for academic success.
